  "I was at the Black Panther show. Bobby was right in front of me entering the front doors and he got frisked for weapons like everyone else. He fell over while they were frisking him and they caught him and propped him back up. It was weird to hear these Panther speeches followed by the Dead's set (one set, not very long as I remember). When the Dead came on the white hippies in attendance moved towards the front dancing. It didn't strike me as one of the better shows I saw in 71 but was fun. Ken Kesey was on stage and a couple of the Pranksters were moving through the audience with eyedroppers of LSD. Stick out your tongue and a Prankster would put a drop of LSD onto it."
