For those of you wondering what happened to the first set, I was at this show: THERE WAS NO FIRST SET. NRPS opened, then the Dead came out, played this one set and left. Chicago's International Ampitheatre was a big old barn with terrible acoustics -- didn't seem like the band an audience connected". However, this is contradicted by spamjam at LL: "I was at 2/19 and there definitely were two sets. Four of us did a road trip from Ann Arbor. We were in the second balcony for NRPS, the first balcony for the GD first set, and the floor for the second set. Going home we spun out on icy I-94 in my '62 Plymouth (with push-button auto transmission) and wound up facing backwards in the median. Fun times."
