•  The January 1986 Garcia/Kahn acoustic tour --seven shows in nine days for John Scher in interesting, core- northeast halls-- was a lucrative proposition for the two partners. Billboard reported this show as a 3,741 sold sellout grossing more than $50,000. WaPo listing mistakenly gave Warner Theatre. JGBP notes that "every president since Calvin Coolidge has attended events" in this hall, which Jerry played on 11/2/75 Jerry Garcia Band; 11/27/83 Jerry Garcia Band; 8/8/84 Jerry Garcia Band; 11/20/84 John Kahn (acoustic); 1/24/86 John Kahn (acoustic).
