Follow these simple steps to ensure a rock-solid, permanent bond that will survive tour after tour, wash after wash

1. Preheat the Fabric: Iron the area of your garment where you want to place the patch for 10–20 seconds to heat the fabric and remove any moisture.
2. Position the Patch: Place your state license plate patch exactly where you want it.
3. Use a Protective Barrier: Cover the patch with a thin cloth, parchment paper, or a pressing rag to protect the detailed embroidery from direct high heat.
4. Press Firmly: Set your iron to the "Cotton" setting (high heat, NO STEAM). Press down firmly directly over the covered patch for 20–30 seconds. Do not move the iron around; keep steady, heavy pressure.
5. Flip and Repeat: Turn the garment inside out (if applicable) and iron the reverse side of the patch area firmly for another 15–20 seconds to fully melt the adhesive from the back.
6. Let it Cool: Allow the patch to cool completely for 5–10 minutes before moving or wearing the garment. If the edges aren't fully sealed, repeat step 4 for a few more seconds.
